During the course of this 6-week series, you will find yourself in a circle of like minded seekers and uncover the wholeness that already exists inside of your heart.

A Deep Dive Into Yoga for Depression:

Exploring the Ancient Wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine to Uncover Ways to Shift this Energy

Whether seasonal or clinical, depression can hit hard during the cold months. Conventional treatments for depression are helpful, and obviously recommended, however, if you are looking for something supplemental for your care, yoga and the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine have a lot to offer.  

Join me in this four part series to learn about how these ancient wisdom traditions shed a light on how you might work within your body as well as the neuroplasticity of your brain in order to shift patterns of thought & behavior. Class format will include discussion, journaling, breath work, movement, and rest to nourish depletion as well as shed excess.

Join Kristin Cook, RYT-500 for this four-part series designed for folks who are looking for resources and tools to help manage anxiety and stress. Research continues to show yoga as an effective tool in reducing anxiety and stress levels.

As a mind-body practice, yoga illuminates the connection between your thoughts and what you are physically experiencing in your body. Through the use of movement and yoga asana, breathwork, journaling, discussion, and meditation, in this series you will:

-Identify where stress is held and carried in your body

-learn how to unwind and melt away this physical tension

-Identify and become familiar with your perseverative thought patterns

-Learn mindfulness techniques to stop the loop of anxious thoughts

This series will not only equip you with tools to employ on-the-spot in moments of high stress and overwhelm, but will also help you to create your own daily nervous system care routine. This offering is for all levels of practice, no yoga experience needed.

Trauma-Informed Beginner Yoga Series

Join Kristin Cook for this 4-week series ideal for beginners of all backgrounds, including those who have experienced trauma. Taught from a trauma-informed perspective, this series will introduce the foundations of yoga so that you can begin to experience its transformational effects. Learn yoga postures and variations of postures to meet your individual needs and comfort, while establishing a felt sense of safety in your body. Our sessions will incorporate breath awareness and breathing techniques, somatics, and yogic philosophy--all of which you can begin to integrate into your daily life to help support you on your healing path.
